A few years ago I published a tutorial around christmas, base don a little spline growth animation and it was very popular, so I thought I would revisit the idea but take it a little further, as part of the new essentials series.
This tutorial covers Cinema 4d tools as well as a little X Particles but if you don't have that you can get similar results using the standard C4D particle systems with mograph trails.
